The Centre
This gorgeous privately owned and purpose-built centre located in Broadmeadow is seeking an experienced Centre Director to join their team on a full-time basis. This 94-place service features bright and light-filled rooms providing plenty of resources to plan your daily programs for the little ones. A stunning outdoor playground is also available to promote and foster natural play experiences. Having a close relationship with parents and the local community is a priority for the team.

The Role
As the Centre Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of passionate educators and teachers
  • Building and maintaining trusting relationships with children, families, and the local community
  • Ensuring that the service is operating within industry and governmental standards and regulations
  • Promoting positive and collaborative team culture
  • Collaborating and working alongside other leadership team members within the organisation
  • Ensuring service-wide compliance with all statutory requirements, including the National Law and Regulations

About You
  • Qualified Diploma or Bachelors of Early Childhood Education & Care (ECTs must have NESA Accreditation)
  • Minimum 2-3 years prior experience either as an Assistant Director or Centre Director
  • Sound understanding of Child Safety, EYLF, and National Quality Standards and Frameworks
  • Recent Child Protection/Child Safeguarding Training
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (including Asthma and Anaphylaxis or willing to obtain)
  • Food Handler Certificate
  • The ability to be reliable and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Unrestricted Australian working rights
